Medium-deep red with some garnet hints. Dark berry aromas, with plum and prune notes. Oak is kept to the background. Very ripe, rich palate flavours with a touch of licorice and berry conserve. Full, generous and smooth in the modern idiom. This wine is well suited to grilled meat and other savoury dishes.
